Our story

We exist to prove what’s inside, not just promise it.

GetPured is an Indian food brand built on trust, transparency and uncompromising quality. We started with the essentials every household depends on: spices, cold-pressed oils and ghee.

Why we started

When did it become normal not to know what is really in our food?

It began, as most honest things do, at the dinner table. One evening, talking about food the way Indian families always do, we found ourselves asking a question we couldn’t shake.

Spices. Oils. Ghee. The essentials every Indian kitchen runs on. And yet, somewhere along the way, we had all quietly accepted that trusting the label was the best we could do. Adulteration, mislabelling, hidden shortcuts dressed up in premium packaging. It had become so common that questioning it felt almost unusual. We found ourselves wondering whether the products in our own kitchen were genuinely what they claimed to be, or simply marketed well enough for us to believe it.

That one conversation didn’t end when the evening did. It stayed with us for weeks. The more we thought about it, the more we realised this wasn’t just our worry. It was something almost every household in India quietly experiences, without ever saying it out loud. That realisation became the reason GetPured exists today.

The name

What does GetPured mean?

Finding our name took almost two months. We explored countless options, only for each one to fall through: already trademarked, the domain already taken, or simply not carrying the weight of what we wanted to build. We wanted something unique, memorable and meaningful, not just a name that sounded nice on packaging.

Then, while reading an article about illness and recovery, one phrase stopped us mid-sentence: “get cured.” A single thought followed immediately: what about GetPured? We checked. The trademark was free. The domain was ours.

But GetPured was never just wordplay. It’s an invitation, a nudge toward cleaner, more honest choices, one kitchen at a time. It’s what we want every household in India to feel when they pick up one of our products: this, I don’t have to question.

How we source

From farm to kitchen.

We didn’t want to be a brand that simply picks products off a shelf, adds a premium label and calls it a day. So we built our sourcing philosophy around one clear intention: deliver quality without compromise, and be honest about how we got there.

Take turmeric, one of our earliest products. We buy it where we do because the climate and the soil there produce turmeric known for its rich colour and aroma. A trusted sourcing partner helps us identify the growers and suppliers in that region, so only carefully selected raw turmeric ever makes it into a GetPured pack.

From there it travels to certified manufacturing facilities, where it is cleaned, processed and finely ground under strict quality and hygiene standards. Every batch goes through quality checks and lab testing before it is approved. Only then is it packed, in packaging designed to preserve freshness, flavour and aroma.

That is the level of care we try to bring to every product we make, not just the ones people expect us to be careful about.

How we check each ingredient

Named origins

Every one of them has a place attached.

  • RajasthanAmchur, coriander, cumin
  • KarnatakaBlack pepper, cinnamon
  • Tamil NaduRed chilli
  • North East IndiaTurmeric
  • Gir and Sahiwal cowsA2 Bilona ghee

Where a product is defined by the seed rather than the field (groundnut, sunflower, olive, rice bran, black mustard), the product page names that instead.

How it is made

Traditional, wherever it genuinely makes the product better.

We believe these methods have endured for a reason. Combined with modern quality standards, hygiene practices and verification, they let us offer products that honour India’s food heritage while meeting the expectations of today’s kitchens.

  • Cultured curd being churned into butter with a wooden bilona churn, the traditional method behind GetPured ghee

    Ghee

    The Bilona method

Curd is churned into butter before being slowly simmered to produce ghee. This time-honoured process is valued for preserving the rich aroma, texture and authentic character that Indian households have trusted for generations.

  • A wooden ghani press with seed going in and golden oil running out, the wood-pressed cold-pressed method behind GetPured oils

    Oils

    Wood-pressed, cold-pressed

Our oils are extracted using the traditional wood-pressed, cold-pressed method. By avoiding excessive heat during extraction, this process helps retain the oil’s natural flavour, aroma and nutritional qualities, staying as close as possible to its original form.

What we stand for

Three things we never compromise on.

  • Trust

Every product, every process, every decision is built to earn it, not assume it. We want people to choose GetPured with complete confidence, knowing their interests always come before shortcuts.

  • Integrity

Doing the right thing in sourcing, pricing and labelling our products, even when no one is checking. Every decision, big or small, is guided by honesty and responsibility.

  • Uncompromising quality

Never traded for margin, never rushed for growth. Every product is carefully sourced, thoroughly verified, and held to the highest standard we can meet.

Our promise

Food you don’t have to question.

To us, that isn’t a claim printed on a pack. It’s ingredients you can bring into your kitchen and use without wondering what’s really inside.

Every product we sell is thoroughly tested and checked for adulteration before it reaches you. We tell you exactly where it comes from and how it is made, not just that it is good. That’s what curated with intent means to us: not more products, but more honesty about the ones we do sell.

Sourcing quality with honesty and testing every batch costs much more than cutting corners, and that’s somewhat reflected in our pricing today. As GetPured grows and works with more farmers and suppliers, we want that scale to bring prices down for you, never to change what goes into the pack.

I want the same food on my own family’s table that I want on yours, food you don’t have to question. That is the standard every product we make is held to, today and as GetPured grows to serve more of what an Indian kitchen needs.

The road so far

It hasn’t been a straight line.

Getting our FSSAI licence alone meant navigating multiple rejections before everything fell into place, and it taught us the value of patience and getting every detail right. Setting up the business brought its own hurdles too: finding the right space to work from, developing packaging that was both visually appealing and fully compliant, and identifying sourcing and manufacturing partners who shared our standards rather than just our vocabulary.

Every one of those challenges took longer than we expected. But what kept us moving was the same thing that started it all: the belief that we were building something people could genuinely trust. We weren’t looking for shortcuts. We were laying a foundation for a brand meant to last, and every setback along the way felt like one more step closer to getting it right.

Where we are going

Where we’re headed.

Our vision goes well beyond a single product line. Over the next five to ten years, we’re growing GetPured into one of India’s most trusted names across pantry essentials, beverages, healthy foods, snacks and other everyday products, every category held to the same standard: honestly sourced, thoroughly verified, and true to what it promises.

Eventually, we plan to bring manufacturing in house too, giving us even greater control over sourcing, production, quality assurance and innovation, so customers never have to question what’s inside a GetPured pack.

Our long-term goal is for GetPured to become a household name, not just in India but globally, representing the best of Indian food traditions and values while making honest, trustworthy products accessible for everyday life.

Peace of mind at your own table.

Because in the end, our goal was never just to sell spices, oils or ghee. It’s to hand you back something that shouldn’t be hard to find: peace of mind at your own dining table, meal after meal, for generations.
